I try to maintain a healthy, clean lifestyle at every corner. Consistent workouts? Yup. Clean eating? Check. Mental health? Yeah. In our industrialized, product-driven world, though, we can no longer focus solely on our internal wellbeing; we must consider the external factors at play.

Beauty & health products, in particular, have a huge impact on our physiology. Sure...tight skin, plump lips and pearly whites sound appealing, but without identifying the ingredients in these beauty-enhancing products, we pose a serious health risk to ourselves.
Not to mention the importance of finding a product that yields actual results.

So, charcoal lovers and DIY-er's, listen up! This one's for you.

The newly-launched brand, ARC, stands for confidence without the nonsense of extraneous or non-working ingredients. I'm talking none of the frills; no charcoal, no lavender, no pomegranate seeds, no lemon. Dentist-preferred and used ingredients only.

Prior to ARC, I personally never (not once!) tried a teeth whitening kit. Why? Because my mom drilled the importance of enamel into me as a kid.​ At-home mixtures, from lemon juice to pure bleach, destroy your enamel and are NOT safe for use! Think about it...you're introducing your body to acid. Sounds anything but safe.

So, when ARC announced their Whitestrips and Blue Light launch at Target, I was quick to try out the product without the fear of negative consequences.
​
I tested the strips & light for just three consecutive days and saw a significant change in the color of my teeth. As an avid coffee-lover, I've always been a bit concerned about staining. So much so that I brush my teeth a good three to four times a day (which can also destroy enamel!). Every smile has a story...I didn't want mine to read "coffee addict".

ARC, I applaud you for steering clear of trendy, marketing-driven ingredients and providing consumers with a safe and effective alternative to at-home teeth whitening. My smile will continue to represent my commitment to a clean lifestyle, despite my love for red wine & coffee.
