THEY'RE BACK, BABY

Crime, humor & money. Does it get any better? NBC's Good Girls is back for Season 3 & I'm here to BLESS YOU if you aren't part of the Rio Fan Club yet.

Grab your popcorn (or, more preferably, wine).

Good Girls is everything you thought you'd never find in a show. If you're anything like me, you can't sit through your boyfriend's "comedic" cartoons without cringing. It takes a LOT to make me laugh. The greats don't even do it...Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart...not for me. But, something about these three relatable, bad-ass women keeps me in hysterics.

I genuinely can't name another series I can freely laugh with (I say with because of how relatable Annie, Ruby & Beth are). I feel like these girls are my real-life bffs.

In case you haven't seen seasons 1 & 2 yet, I won't give away anything significant. All you really need to know is (1) Beth kicks ass (2) Ruby is the funniest woman alive (3) Rio is hot (4) Annie gives it to the man (5) did I mention Rio is hot? See below for reference.

On a more serious note, the producers (Is it the producers? Maybe the author?? Not sure how that works...) of Good Girls do a phenomenal job of balancing humor and heart-wrenching sub-plots.

They've incorporated modern-day, real-life struggles into the storyline. Annie fights for custody of her kid, Ruby tries to save her daughter's life, and Beth struggles with a cheating husband. Through each of these personal struggles you begin to understand WHY these woman make the life choices they do; you don't view them as criminals, and you root for their success & freedom.

All of that being said, this is hands down the BEST show I've seen in recent years.

If you're in search of humor, love, relatable struggles or family drama, this is for you.
